Follow these simple steps and you can draw your own paw pads! Step 1 Draw a pentagon *first pic* Step 2 Draw a "X" through the middle *2nd pic* Step 3 Draw a line from the middle to the top *3rd pic* Step 4 Outline the pads (leave a little space from the pentagon) *fourth pic* Step 5 Colour the pads in *fifth pic* Step 6 Erase the pentagon as best you can *6th pic* Step 7 Adjust anything you want to change *7th pic* and add claws. Copic sketch markers. Widely used amongst artists, yet extremely expensive. Are they worth money is the question. And that’s what I’m here to explain. What's in a Sketch Marker? The markers I will be reviewing in this post will be the ever popular Sketch markers. They have a double end feature, one end having a flexible brush nib that acts just like a paint brush without bristles. The other end has a very stiff chisel nib for thin and broad lines. These markers are available in 358 different colors with easy to read color names and numbers on the caps. Let's talk about inkI was lost for words when I took my first stroke with a copic marker. The ink was so vibrant it hurt my eyes. No joke. Compared to regular crayola markers, these are amazing. Copics also have a unique refillable ink feature for when ink runs out. Below is a comparison of Copic ink beside a normal marker. (You should be able to guess which one is which. If not, Copic on the right, normal marker on the left.) PricesNow for the cost of these bad boys. It really comes down to where you shop, for example, I got my copics from Michaels, probably not the best but it was the only place near me that had them. You see, Michaels sell their copics for $8.99 a piece, now that, is CRAZY, right? If you want a lower price, try other art stores or even keep checking for coupons. I got away with a great deal with a 50% off final price coupon. Or, if you live in Japan or are there for a holiday, they sell Copics for much cheaper, even $4.00 when you find them on sale. Well that wraps up my review on Copic sketch markers, and I came to the conclusion that in the end, they are worth the $$ if you are a serious artist. They are an investment, no denying that. It's quite the decision. I hope this review helped you with your decision on whether to invest in copics or not.
