Hey guys, as artists we all go through different struggles. Whether it's people asking for free works (admit it, it's the worst thing someone can do) or your ink just smudged. Today I'm going to name a couple of struggles that I've went through and I hope at least some of you will relate.
#1. Losing your tool of the trade
Let's say you're working on a really big project where you have a ton of colouring tools scattered around your work area. You take your first colour and colour some parts of your artwork, you put it down and take another colouring utensil You realize you need to retrieve the first colour once more so you look up, only to find... Well, not find the colour you need.
This is a really big struggle that I know I have experienced so many times before. It's really frustrating. For example, try and find the black coloured pencil...

#2 Ink Smudges
There have been tons of times when I started to ink my line art and then realize the ink has spread across the page. This usually happens when your hand rubs against an area you have inked recently and it smudges all around your work. It could also be caused by colouring your work with markers before it's dry. Since the ink and the marker is wet, the ink seeps into the colour, leaving a nasty colour. It's literally the most frustrating thing ever but you can avoid this by just letting your ink dry! But it's not the end of the world, there are several products that you can use to avoid this disaster. For instance, there is a product called the "SmudgeGuard." It's essentially a glove that you wear that only covers the bottom of your hand so it won't smudge your drawings.

#3 Requests
Let's say you work really hard on your art and put 110% into it. Then one day, someone creeps up on you and stares at your art and then asks "can you draw something for me? For free?" Or something along those lines. What the... That's not cool! Artists put their time, their effort and their supplies (that cost money) and to have someone wanting art for free is just so frustrating. Unless an artist specifically asks for requests, then don't do it. It's as simple as that.
#4 This Question...
"Did you draw that?" No, I didn't. I sat down with someone elses' drawing and started working on it. (Sarcasm) This is such an obvious question that people ask, like can't you see that I'm clearly working on it and it's in my sketch book. Of course I drew it!!
That's all for today, hope you liked it!
